Continuing from last year, we will again be running, a poster competition, with prizes for the best posters presented by, graduate and postdoctoral students.

It is the pleasure of the MGED society to announce the MGED13 meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, which will take place July 13-15, 2010, in conjunction with the 18th Annual ISMB meeting.

Further information is available at http://mgedmeeting.org/ and key dates are:

Registration and Abstract Submission Opens: March 9th
Deadline for Abstract submission for consideration as an oral
presentation: May 1st
Notice of acceptance: May 15th
Early registration ends: May 28th
Abstract submission closes: June 30th

The scientific focus of the meeting will be translational genomics and ultra high throughput sequencing - as well as associated standards, data handling issues and analysis techniques. We will have tutorials again this year, including a tutorial on analysis of high throughput sequencing data. Note, there will also be some available travel fellowships for students.
